Billboard drew attention by saying, “Bobby of YG’s still-to-debut boy band iKON is also on the track, bringing his raspy delivery for a quick verse that fits right into the brassy production … but still illustrates his growing potential”.

Then, Billboard also mentioned the music video of “I’m Different”, which was unveiled on the 18. Billboard explains, “The music video spotlights the singers as schoolgirls vying for the attention of their crush, Bobby; showcasing Lee Hi’s cool-but-cute demeanor and Soohyun’s confidence and quirkiness… All the while, viewers get to check out the singer’s undeniable on-screen chemistry”.
